Mitsubishi Materials Corporation has been certified as a Sports Yell Company by the Japan Sports Agency, for the second consecutive year, as a company that actively promotes the health of its employees through sports.

Sports Yell Company program was established by the Japan Sports Agency with the aim of improving the rate of business people taking part in sports, as well as improving the social reputation of companies that consider and strategically address the health management of their employee health.

Our company positions employee health management as a vital management issue and established "The Mitsubishi Materials Group Health and Productivity Management Declaration" in 2020. In accordance with company-wide priority action items, each business site systematically develops activities to maintain and improve employees health, aiming to improve corporate value by creating a workplace where employees can work healthily and actively. At the same time, we strive to improve the health literacy of our employees by providing exercise opportunities through company-wide walking events using health apps, and promoting a variety of health promotion initiatives that are not only group-based, but also online.

We will continue to actively work toward establishing healthy lifestyles for our employees and their families by promoting health and productivity management activities and providing opportunities for sports activities.
