Mitsubishi Materials Corporation
Mitsubishi Materials Corporation has received a "Gold" award in the PRIDE Index 2024, which is an evaluation index of corporate engagement with LGBTQ+ and other sexual minorities.
The PRIDE Index 2024 was established for the first time in Japan in 2016 by "work with Pride," a voluntary organization that aims to create workplaces where LGBTQ+ people can work well beyond the framework of companies and organizations.
Our company received a "Sliver" for the first time in the PRIDE Index 2023 last year. Over the following year, we have further strengthened our support for the LGBTQ+ community by sponsoring Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2024, holding seminars by outside experts for all employees as a Pride Month event, establishing a new LGBTQ+ Ally community within the Group and introducing partnership regulations for domestic relationship.
We believe that people create new value and are the source of sustainable growth of the Group.
Based on this idea, we strive to maximize organizational performance by creating an environment in which members of all races, religions, genders, sexual orientations, gender identities, ages, disabilities, nationalities, origins, social backgrounds, and other diverse backgrounds can coexist and respect each other fairly and equitably, and in which each individual can actively demonstrate their abilities.
We will continue to enhance various measures to create new value by recognizing and respecting the diversity of our individuality in order to serve as a source of sustainable growth for the Group.
