Note on year-on-year comparison

• Total refined copper production will increase approximately 34% year-on-year. Production will increase approximately 17% at Naoshima Smelter & Refinery mainly due to the fact that regular maintenance shutdown is not scheduled this fiscal year. Production will increase approximately 61% at Onahama Smelter & Refinery due to its conversion into a wholly owned subsidiary.
• Refined gold and silver production will decrease mainly due to reduced receipt.
