Mitsubishi Materials Corporation ("MMC") has established a fundamental policy regarding our contribution activities to local communities.
MMC Group has set out "Our Commitment" of "For people, society and the earth, circulating resources for a sustainable future", based on its Corporate Philosophy of "For People, Society and the Earth". Furthermore, our Code of Conduct stipulates "coexistence and co-prosperity" with local communities, and our Materiality includes "dialogue and coexistence with local communities" as an important theme.
In line with these ideas, MMC has established a new "Community Contribution Activity Policy" in order to more actively and positively promote our contribution activities to local communities.
The policy focuses on three areas: "Promotion of local environmental protection and conservation activities", "Supporting next-generation education and Diversity and Inclusion", and "Coexistence with local communities". Through these activities, we aim to achieve sustainable growth within the Group.

We will understand social needs and issues through dialogue with each community and partner organization, and formulate and implement concrete action plans for contribution and solution. In addition, each of the MMC Group's business sites will continue to implement its ongoing communication activities with local communities, thereby contributing to realization of a sustainable society.
