Mitsubishi Materials Corporation was certified as a Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization 2023 (Large Enterprise Category) for the second consecutive year under the Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations Recognition Program as selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Nippon Kenko Kaigi (Japan Health Council).

The Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations Recognition Program is a program that recognizes outstanding enterprises engaging in efforts for health and productivity management based on initiatives for overcoming health-related challenges in communities or for promoting health-conscious activities led by Nippon Kenko Kaigi (Japan Health Council).

We position employee health management as a vital management issue, and in 2020, we formulated the Mitsubishi Materials Group Health and Productivity Management Declaration. The Health and Productivity Management Panel under the Sustainable Management Office headed by the President is taking the lead in creating a workplace where employees can healthily and energetically work, thereby striving to enhance corporate value.
Starting in FY2023, with the aim of improving health literacy among employees, we have been working with the Mitsubishi Materials Health Insurance Society to jointly offer various health education programs, including those on women's health, health management for managers, and health seminars for those 50 and older. We are also working to improve the training environment, for example, by making all training content available in the form of videos that can be viewed anytime. In addition to training, we also offer walking events to provide exercise opportunities, as well as promote a variety of health promotion initiatives by combining company-wide activities with those of individual offices.

We will continue improving health and productivity management activities, further improve employees' vitality and productivity, and invigorate organizations based on the concept of our code of conduct: [Safety First] We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all our stakeholders.
