Mitsubishi Materials Corporation ("MMC") held "Family Day" as a summer office event.
This event was held as an opportunity to invite the families of employees working at the Marunouchi Head Office to the employees' workplaces to express our gratitude for their daily support to our employees, and to deepen their understanding and familiarity with the company and its work. The event was held again following last year.

On the day of the event

This year, the event was held in two parts, morning and afternoon, with the morning session mainly aimed at children of elementary and junior high school age and younger, and the afternoon session aimed at families of high school students and older.
For elementary and junior high school students, in addition to an office tour, a sticker rally was held, which included a quiz and took them around booths set up in the office.
At the booths, our employees acted as "MMC Experts" and asked questions and provided explanations about our business. For high school students and older, an employee in charge explained the metal recycling initiative we are working on, helping them to understand the importance of resource circulation.
At the end, we asked the employees' families to write messages of support for our Group and employees.

Comments from the participants

Participating family members commented, "We were able to learn more about the company by seeing people actually working. It was a valuable experience for our children," and "The children enjoyed themselves, learning things they don't know in their daily lives in a fun quiz style and being shown products and other things."

Thus, this event was a valuable opportunity for employees, family members, and the company to interact with each other. To become a company that can be supported by our stakeholders, including family members, MMC Group will take various measures to fulfill Our Commitment.
