Mitsubishi Materials Corporation ("MMC") held "Family Day" as a summer office event.
This event was held as an opportunity to invite the families of employees working at the Marunouchi Head Office to the workplaces to express our gratitude for their daily support to our employees, and to deepen their understanding and familiarity with the company and its work.
The event was held for the first time in four years, as it had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the day of the event

For children, a sticker rally with quiz was held along with the office tour. In addition, we explained Our Commitment of "For people, society and the earth, circulating resources for a sustainable future", and asked participants to choose one of the following societal expectations: "a prosperous society," "a recycling-oriented society," or "a decarbonized society" and to write a support message for MMC group and our employees.

Participating family members commented, "This event was not only fun for children, but also provided an opportunity to learn more about Mitsubishi Materials' business activities." and "It was a very precious experience to be able to show the children their parents' workplace and to talk with the CEO." Thus, this event was a valuable opportunity for employees, family members, and the company to interact with each other.
