CAD diagram of smelter seen from the control room :
The Mitsubishi furnaces and anode furnaces are sequentially linked with enclosed launders.


CAD diagram of Smelting furnace (S-furnace) :
The melts (slag and matte ) produced in the S-furnace flow out and enter the slag cleaning furnace(CL-furnace). Process lances are equipped on the furnace roof for feed material charging and oxygen-enriched air blowing.

Discard slag (CL-slag) is separated from matte and then water-granulated.

Blister is continuously syphoned out from the C-furnace and transferred into anode furnaces through the refractory enclosed launder.
