Copper Wirerod
The wirerod is fully continuously
cast on our SCR machine. As we use only our own cathode we have good
control over the impurity levels giving us copper wirerod with an
electrical conductivity of 100% IACS.
Dust Free Copper Wirerod The amount of copper dust increases when using a die to draw
wirerod. There is a sharp decline in drawability and wire breaks occur
easily. We have developed our own special process to produce a dust free
(DF) wirerod. This special wirerod during drawing produces less than half
the dust of regular wirerod. The product retains high electrical
conductivity, good mechanical properties, and excellent surface conditions
at a low cost.
Silver-Bearing Copper Wirerod We produce 3AG (0.03% Ag), 8AG
(0.08%Ag), 10AG (0.10%Ag), and 17AG (0.17%) silver bearing wirerod to our
customers requirements. The addition of silver improves the heat
conductivity and mechanical properties of the copper wirerod without
sacrificing the electrical conductivity.
Tin-Bearing Copper Wirerod
The addition of tin will reduce the electrical conductivity to about 70%
IACS, however the high temperature (strength and hardness) and wear
properties improve significantly.
Hard Drawn Copper Wire Our high quality wirerod is made from
select electrolytically refined copper cathode and processed down to
standard sizes 2.6mm and 3.2mmø. We offer two types, shaved and drawn (SV)
and drawn (SD).
SV Material: Used for Ultra Fine Wire, Electrical Wire,
Hard Wire
SD Material: Used for Fine Wire and Hard Wire
Tin-Bearing Copper Wire Our tin-bearing 30SNV, drawn and shaved
wire has excellent heat resistant and mechanical properties. This wire is
suitable for fine wire and it's high temperature properties will not change
after drawing.
