Billet and Cakes

At the Sakai Plant we produce copper billets and cakes that are used for the manufacture of tube, bar, plate, strip and sheet products. Our billets and cakes are made as electrolytic tough pitch (ETP), phosphorus deoxidized copper (DCu) , oxygen free copper (OFC), and oxygen free copper based alloys. Our process is fully continuous from melting, casting, and cutting, right on through packing insuring high quality products with low production costs. Our method allows for large lots in big sizes up to 6 meters in length (about 20') weighing up to 10 tons (about 22,000 lbs) each.
