Copper Anodes

Mitsubishi Materials is Japan's largest producer of copper anodes. Our high-quality anodes can be found throughout Asia.

• We use only high quality electrolytically refined copper cathodes. These cathodes are very low in impurities resulting in minimal sludge buildup
• Our melting and casting are strictly controlled and additional elements are dispersed uniformly
• The grain structure is uniform and fine, the anodes easily dissolve, and the plating efficiency is high
• Mitsubishi anodes are cleaned in our special in-line cleaning system, are oil free, and do not contaminate the platers bath
• The anodes have a smooth surface and the roundness is good allowing for easy utilization in automatic charging systems

Typical uses for Mitsubishi copper anodes

• Our oxygen free based phosphorous copper anodes are widely used for plating of printed circuit boards (PCB).
• Our oxygen free copper anodes are used for the plating of lead frames and steel.
