ISO 14001 Certification

Mitsubishi Materials Corporation, Sakai Plant, Japan's premier manufacturer of oxygen-free copper and oxygen-free copper-based alloys, has been certified by the Japan Quality Assurance Organization as an ISO 14001 compliant factory.
The Sakai Plant was approved and awarded certificate number JQA-EM0818 April 7, 2000. The Sakai Plant has maintained a high environmental standard since starting operations in December 1990 and the certification is a confirmation of the plant as a world class leader in environmental management.
The Sakai Plant is located in Osaka Japan, melts and produces high-quality oxygen-free copper and oxygen-free copper-based alloys. It is a major worldwide supplier of cakes, billets, wirerod, anodes, and formed products.
