Mitsubishi Materials Corporation

Continuing Donations to Organizations Addressing Social Issues

Mitsubishi Materials Corporation made fiscal 2023 donations to four organizations working to resolve social issues.
This initiative was launched on the occasion of the Group's 150th anniversary last year. To realize our corporate philosophy "For People, Society and the Earth," we have selected organizations committed to solving social issues through activities in line with this philosophy, in particular those supporting children, students, and refugees, and we continue to make donations this fiscal year.
We, as a Group, will continue to contribute to the resolution of social issues and a sustainable society through various initiatives.

Approximately 2,500 university students from all over Japan belong to the organization to engage in activities mainly in five areas: international cooperation, community activation, environmental protection, disaster relief, and educational support for children.
With the vision of realizing "a society to live together," we will use your donation to further improve our social contribution activities in Japan and overseas for the resolution of social issues.

Katariba is an educational NPO that has been active since 2001 to create a society in which any teenager can develop their motivation and creativity to make their own future, regardless of their social and economic background.
We hope that working on initiatives aimed at solving social issues surrounding children will lead to the realization of Mitsubishi Materials' corporate philosophy "For People, Society and the Earth." Your donation will be used carefully to provide children all over the country with places to stay and diverse learning opportunities.

Refugees who have fled from conflicts and human rights violations encounter various difficulties in Japan. We listen to each and every person who seeks advice and provide legal, lifestyle, employment, and community-based support, while also offering policy proposals and disseminating information.
In order to create a situation where refugees can live with peace of mind, we will carefully use donations from the Mitsubishi Materials Group for our activities.
