Notes on year-on-year comparison

Copper
  • Total refined copper production will decrease approximately 8% year-on-year. Production will decrease approximately 13% at Naoshima Smelter and Refinery due to maintenance shutdown in the 2nd half of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019. Production will increase approximately 1% at Onahama Smelter and Refinery.
Gold/Silver
  • Refined gold production will decrease due to a slight difference of raw materials processing percentage.
  • Refined silver production will decrease due to the lower silver grade of metal scrap treatment.
