Notes on year-on-year comparison

Copper
  • Total refined copper production will increase approximately 4% year on year. Production will increase approximately 4% at Naoshima Smelter and Refinery, where production was down last April due to a periodic maintenance shutdown. Production will increase approximately 5% at Onahama Smelter and Refinery.
Gold/Silver
  • Refined gold production will increase due to the higher volume of Onahama slime and other raw materials.
  • Refined silver production will increase due to the higher volume of Naoshima slime, Onahama slime and other raw materials.
