Notes on year-on-year comparison

Copper
  • Production was down slightly in the first half of the previous period, due to minor trouble at the Naoshima Smelter and Refinery. However, production is expected to increase during the current first half, owing to steady operations at both the Naoshima and Onahama facilities.
Gold/Silver
  • Refined gold production will increase due to an increase of treatment of raw materials and its higher content of gold.
  • Refined silver production will increase due to an increase of treatment of raw materials and its higher content of silver.
