By integrating activities across the infrastructures of several groupwide business segments, particularly energy, nonferrous metals refining and cement and aluminum can production, Mitsubishi Materials reapplies large amounts of waste as raw materials or renders them harmless to the environment.
In cooperation with members of the Group, the Company is involved in various recycling businesses, such as household appliance and waste concrete recycling, as well as dioxin analysis and elimination.
Mitsubishi Materials also promotes joint projects with Group companies to survey and clean up soil and groundwater pollution and to dismantle incinerators. |
